all about jack....
This is the index page for the All about Jack section of my Us book. I'm pretty sure at some point I'll have to have 3 separate albums for the Us section. But for now I'm keeping them together.
This page kind of got away from me! I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do for the lettering and I had all the die cuts from the Fancy Pants About A Boy collection that I wanted to use. It's a little busy..but then so is Jack! He needs constant entertainment I tell ya!
Along with the About a Boy collection I used the Basic Grey Recess Buttons. I just love when something from one line coordinates with that of another. It's makes things so easy. Next up is the Index page for the All About Jordan page! See ya tomorrow....hopefully I get it done.

siblings....
I used the new Sweet Branch Crate paper collection http://www.embellish-online.com/item...rate-Paper.htm
for this page. That paper is so cute! I want to use it on everything I make right now....but I won't! I'll branch out here in a little bit for sure. I just picked up the new Basic Grey and Imaganisce The new Imaganisce is called All kinds of Happy. Don't you just love the name of the collection. It really just makes me smile. It's full of cupcake and birthday goodness.
This page is the index page for the Siblings part of my All About Us book. I am loving the ideas I got from reading Stacy Julian's new book Photo Freedom. I truly have gotten more scrapping done and the pages I'm making are what I've been wanting to do but couldn't because of my anal chronological scrapbooking obsession!
Wowzers...I'm long winded today. I'll leave it at that. LOL

woo hoo
Finally the design team for Embellish-Online was announced! Congrats girls it's going to be great working with you. I've added all the new members to my blogroll so go check them out!
I'll leave you with another birthday page of J. Auntie brought this dress back from a trip to Paris. Oh how I love this dress. I think she can still wear it thank goodness even though it was 2 years ago.
On a totally different note J and I went to the Kindergarten play date tonight and she a a blast. Sending her off to kindergarten isn't going to be easy for me. But she did make a few new friends tonight! There are so many boys coming into kindergarten I just can't believe it. So I tracked down a couple of girls and they hit it off. One of the moms has already gotten the ball rolling for a soccer team. So excited about that!
have a super day!

i'm a rock star.....
This is just my favorite of the 20 pages I made for my 6x6 scrapbook class on Friday. Go here if you want to see the rest. Scroll down past the index thingies and there is the rest of the pages. My sister has 9 people coming over Friday to make their own book. So not only did I design the 20 pages I also cut all the paper for the rest of the books. And just to make it more difficult everybody picked a different kit. So I had to decide what papers went were etc...it was kind of a nightmare I tell ya. I'm so glad it's done though. I'll leave you with this for today and I'll be back tomorrow night with another scrapbook pageof J's 3rd birthday.
make it a great day!

get ready....
for a week or so of posting!! Woo Hoo. I got 3 layouts and the entire scrapbook for my class this Friday done this weekend. Also I'll be able to give you a sneak peak of the stuff I created for the EIS design team gallery for July at the end of the week.
For now another lovely photo of J. Love this b&w with the Blush Collection from Basic Grey. (By the way Barb has this lovely Collection on sale over at EIS. Be sure to check out the mini monograms that co-ordinate with it as well.)
I used strips of paper from several pieces then punched out and popped out several of the elements from one of the pages. It's got so much dimension that you can't see in this photo. The title is lifted from a layout I ran across some time ago and it just stuck with me. I really can't remember where I saw it...sorry!
We are off to the water park today. Hope you all have a great Monday!

Just a quick note to let you know I'm still around. All of the projects I'm working on right now are for the Embellish-Online Design team gallery that you can view on July 5th. I've got another project or two to finish up for that and then I'll be working on a 6x6 scrapbook for a class I'm doing next week. I'll be posting those pages as I get them done.
I am also eagerly awaiting my new camera!! I was finally able to upgrade to a Canon 40D. It's perfect timing too! I shot a wedding a few weeks ago and at the very end (thank goodness!) it seem like the camera was tripping up because of the flash. Not sure what was going on but I was taking photos of some of my projects the other day and it was doing the same thing . I have to depress the shutter for like 5 seconds before it will fire. I have no idea what the problem is but I am so glad that a new camera is on the way!
Havea super saturday and I hope to have something to show you tonight.

so sorry...
I hardly ever blog!!!LOL
Really this card is for one of the monthly shoebox swaps I attend with my friends. We have such a great time always. This months theme is sympathy cards. I really don't do this type of card very well but I am happy with the way this one came out. I have hardly used this adorable butterfly from the Garden Whimsy set and I'm happy to say that this one is not retiring! I really only have about 30 sets left after the current retired set list. Kind of a bummer but I'm excited for the new stuff coming out. Look for a list of sets I'm getting rid of here in a couple of months (just as soon as I can sell them).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Supplies: All Stampin' Up! Garden Whimsy, whisper white, pomegranate and guava cardstock and guava stitched ribbon.

made for having fun!
A quick layout I did the other day using the new Fancy Pants About a Boy line. These papers are so great for all my boy pages I just love them. I mixed in some Basic Grey Buttons and some unknown chipboard. This was such an easy layout because the paper was already so perfect!!
I think I have my new photo storing system in place. I can't tell you how easy it was to see these photos and be able to scrap them even though they weren't in chronological order! I've got a little more work to do with the system. I do need to add more photos to the category drawers and I'm trying to decide if each album needs to have title pages for each category or if I can just pop them in the book. I'll have to think on that one.
make it a great day!

loved
I finally got to scrap! I got a couple of pages done...this was the first, I'll show you the other tomorrow. I used the new Little Yellow Bicycle papers for this. I really love what they have come out with, both for boy and girls. There are some many coordinating accessories that go with the line as well, it's so easy to scrapbook with. I also picked up this cute butterfly stamp from Verve Visual. I really don't need any more stamps so I haven't been buying them but when I saw this butterfly, I had to have it. I had been looking for a butterfly stamp that would be easy to cut out to embellish my scrapbook page with. And this is perfect. I was even able to nicely cut out the antenna!
Have a super Saturday.

love this giraffe!
I went straight to the new Imaginisce line when I needed a baby card the other day! It is all so cute. I paper pieced the giraffe and stuck the brad trough the taffeta ribbon. I just had to use the brad and I didn't have any where else to put it so I decided to shove it through the ribbon. These brads are like velvet. They are so soft and they come in several different colors. This one is the cream one. I used the SU! polka dot background stamp for the green panel and punched out some ovals with my Marvy punches.
have a great day!
