A Blog About Paper and Pretty Things

This is just my favorite of the 20 pages I made for my 6x6 scrapbook class on Friday. Go here if you want to see the rest. Scroll down past the index thingies and there is the rest of the pages. My sister has 9 people coming over Friday to make their own book. So not only did I design the 20 pages I also cut all the paper for the rest of the books. And just to make it more difficult everybody picked a different kit. So I had to decide what papers went were etc...it was kind of a nightmare I tell ya. I'm so glad it's done though. I'll leave you with this for today and I'll be back tomorrow night with another scrapbook pageof J's 3rd birthday.

I finally got to scrap! I got a couple of pages done...this was the first, I'll show you the other tomorrow. I used the new Little Yellow Bicycle papers for this. I really love what they have come out with, both for boy and girls. There are some many coordinating accessories that go with the line as well, it's so easy to scrapbook with. I also picked up this cute butterfly stamp from Verve Visual. I really don't need any more stamps so I haven't been buying them but when I saw this butterfly, I had to have it. I had been looking for a butterfly stamp that would be easy to cut out to embellish my scrapbook page with. And this is perfect. I was even able to nicely cut out the antenna!
I went straight to the new Imaginisce line when I needed a baby card the other day! It is all so cute. I paper pieced the giraffe and stuck the brad trough the taffeta ribbon. I just had to use the brad and I didn't have any where else to put it so I decided to shove it through the ribbon. These brads are like velvet. They are so soft and they come in several different colors. This one is the cream one. I used the SU! polka dot background stamp for the green panel and punched out some ovals with my Marvy punches.
