spring break

This is what we are doing on our spring break! I'm so glad it finally snowed. I grew up in Colorado and I don't remember a winter with as little snow as we have gotten this year. We and by we I mean my husband :> broke out the snow blower and the kids are playing in the fluffy goodness right now. I'm going to go get the hot cocoa ready for when they decide to come in and maybe get to a little scrapping....

soccer

This is another one of those pages that looks like it took me 5 minutes to throw together but in reality to me for.ev.er. to get everything just right. I used the new Bo Bunny, some chipboard and thickers. The fuzzy brads are from the Enchanting line from pink pailsee. I will have some sample of that yummy stuff soon. I'm working with it for some DT work.

On another note...that little guy in the picture just turned 8 a couple weeks ago! Man time flies!!

a layout

I went for my monthly scrapbook night this weekend. Only got 3 pages done, this was one of them. The pp and cut outs are from fancy pants. Isn't it cute? It's printed on kraft paper. Absolutely loved it. Only problem, I couldn't get anything to match wit it so I went with Kraft. I love the way it all blends together. The cuts outs are so adorable I wanted to use them all! I restrained though and it's a good thing cause I have a lot of the paper left over. It didn't take much for this layout.

It seems that the only time I make cards these days is when I have a swap to do. This is for one of the organized swaps I'm in. I used the new Forest Friends set form the upcoming mini catalog, the polka dot and short and sweet stamp sets, striped and regular grosgrain. I used markers for the tree so I could get two different colors. Now I just have to make 17 more of these and I'll be done!

1 2 3 bounce!

This is a photo from my daughters 3rd birthday. She got this fun bouncy house as her gift. I used the new Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday papers some thickers (of course), several stampin up punches, buttons and brads. I made the flower at the top with some great instructions from Suzy and I used the most current pencil lines sketch (#126) as my inspiration. The circle around the 3 is my attempt at getting her age on the page.
Spring break is almost upon us! Have a great day!

stylin

I actually scrapped a current picture of J. Kinda makes me want to go backwards with my scrapping. I had a lot more fun doing this current one than I have had with the older ones. If fact the pile of older pictures keeps getting smaller as I weed out the photos that don't really need to be scrapped. I think I'll do another look through today if get a chance. I would really like to get 2006 in the books!

This layout uses some Sasafrass I picked up a while ago. The felt flowers and letters are AC.
I used a Becky Fleck page maps sketch for this one. I decided to scrap with sketches for a bit to get some pages done!

nothing better

There really isn't anything better than a good laugh is there? I haven't gotten much scrapping accomplished lately but I have some stuff out on the desk ready to go that I'll get to soon.
This layout uses the Fetching line again by Pink Paislee. Still loving it. Really love that there are 3 alphas in the collection. I always wanted to get better at combining different fonts and they just made it really easy for me! I still need some work in that area but I'm getting there!

This layout is based on a layout I saw on one of my favorite scrapping blogs...From My Feathered Nest. I just love Jana's style and her attention to detail. Every time I look at one of her layouts I see something I didn't see before!

make it a great day!

I used up some scraps from my layout to make this b-day card for Jack who is turning 8 in a couple of weeks. Time flies, I tell ya! For some reason 8 seems so much older than 7.

I also broke out my new SU stamp set Trendy Trees. I haven't stamped in so long. It felt good. I may even try and get a little more stamping in here today.

I am totally in love with this new Pink Paislee.

I picked up the Fetching line the other day and tried really hard not to brag about it cause it wasn't in the store yet. It is now!

I think what I like best is that there is 3 different alphabet in the collection. And you know I can't get enough of any kind of letters!
