up to my eyeballs & a sketch challenge!

These stamps just keep getting better and better I tell ya! I finally decided to do a challenge today on SCS. The newest one was Sketch Challenge 248 and it was perfect for these little stamps in the HSH Halloween Additions set from There She Goes. I seriously can not get enough of the eyeball sentiment! It cracks me up every time I look at it. And I had to hop on over to the EIO store and pick up some more Twilight paper because I didn't have enough left for the scrapbook pages I wanted to use it for. I haven't done that with a paper line for ages, but this is definitley my favorite Halloween paper of ALL time!

This is another one of those cards that took me all day! It totally doesn't look like it should but I apparently have commitment problems. I get the card the way I like it, move things around on it for hours and finally glue it down in the original format after looking at it the WHOLE day! Seriously.

Cardstock ~ Kraft, Pink Paislee Twilight
Stamps ~ There She Goes HSH Halloween Additions

Ink ~ Palette Noir Black

Accessories ~ SU scallop edge punck, PTI twine, Copics, Imaginesce Brads

HSH Halloween Additions Blog hop!

Hello and welcome to the HSH Halloween Additions Blog Hop. If you are joining me from Jodi's blog then welcome! If not hop on back to the TSG blog and get started. Leave a comment on each Trendsetter's blog and head back to the TSG blog for a chance to win one of these fabulous sets!

Today we are showcasing the new HSH Halloween additions stamp set. I chose to use one of the images as a focal point rather than in a scene. That's the beautiful thing about this set! There are so many options for it I couldn't even begin to list them all!

For my card I had to cut into my brand new Twilight collection by Pink Paislee. It may be my favorite Halloween collection yet! I paired it with some Kraft cardstock (I know BIG surprise), black glitter brads, some twine and the use of several punches.

I hope you enjoyed my card! The next stop on the HSH Halloween Additions hop is Maki!

ps....thanks so, so much for all the nice comments yesterday! Each and every one made me smile!

My scrapbooking tip is to keep it simple! I have had these birthday pictures for almost 3 years. I finally decided to get them scrapped! In the past I would pick papers and embellishments for each different layout. Now I grab something that corrdinates and I go with it for the whole event. For this 6 year old boy birthday I cut into my Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend collection and went to town. I made it even more simple by using a Got Sketch scrapbooking sketch for one of the layouts (the Crazy For Legos layout). It took me one night and I was able to scrap the whole birthday. I think the hardest part was thinking up the titles that fast! Cosmo Cricket makes this so easy with the collections they put together. I love that there are stickers and cardstock strips and journaling spots all included in one collection. It really does make it super easy to scrap with.

Earth Love

I am so in love with this Cosmo Cricket Earth Love collection, although this is the first time I've used it! I keep looking at it and admiring it though. This cute little snail just makes me smile! If you are going to have this collection, the coordinating chipboard is a must have. I also threw in some American Crafts Thickers to finish it off.

And cause I love a good deal...Barb over at Embellish-Online has some amazing specials going on right now. You can get free shipping on orders over $50 (I seriously love free shipping!) and she has started a Frequent Buyer program. You get 1 point for every $5.00 you purchase. When you receive 30 points you'll get $15 off your next purchase.

Stay tuned this week for some exciting news!!

a little of this and a little of that

I finally started getting Jack's 6 year old birthday pics scrapped (he's 8 1/2). I have this need to "catch up" on all the annual events like the first day of school, birthdays, halloween etc. Not sure where it's coming from but I'll go with it! I completed Jordan's kindergarten year now I'm on to these birthday pics of Jack's. I plan to finish those off and try to get caught up on Jack's school pictures.

These are the rest of Jordan's kindergarten pictures. It does feel good to get them done! I also have almost completely used up my Girl Friday collection by Cosmo Cricket.

that's it for today! Have a wonderful day!

love to read

Here I go again with the Cosmo Cricket! This one is Lil' Man (I think!), I paired it up with a bunch of different products. Which I am so proud of because I have been just concentrating on "collections" lately and a lot of my goodies are going unused. I've got Prima, Jenni Bowlin, Sassafrass, American Crafts, Basic Grey and Pink Paislee all accounted for here. Sweet!!
I'm off to Archivers tonight again...here's hoping to completing more than 2 stinkin' pages this time!

Here a a couple more of J's kindergarten pages I finished up. I try not to have to make too many school pages for each year. I fell like these are probably the books they'll want to take with them when they leave home and I don't want then to be too big! I do, however, have 2 maybe 3 more pages to do for this year. I'll have to cut down on the picture taking this year!

I hope you don't get tired of the Girl Friday collection! I have a bit more to do with it and then I'll pack it away! It's just so cute I can't stop using it! :>
