featured stamper and a treat!

*edited to add* I guess I could have put a deadline on this little give away! Let's say Friday 1/25 at 5:00 mountain time. *

Good morning! I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday so here I am this morning! This weeks featured stamper challenge at Splitcoastsatampers is to case KathyC. Wow! She has a really amazing gallery...definitely go check it out. This card is pretty straight forward. I'm trying to use up some of my retired Stampin' Up! paper as I have a 5 new packages showing up today! So when I came across this Loves Me dsp from last year I was on an instant mission to use it all up. My daughter's valentines are almost done thanks to this slightly neurotic problem that I have.

Another problem that I have is with Primas. Back when the were so popular that you couldn't find a single jar of Primas , I acquired several. I had to have them and once I got them I couldn't use them on anything. It's not what you're thinking...I'm not a hoarder. I do actually try to use up the things I buy because there will come a time when I do not like it anymore and then it just takes up space. I couldn't use them because it turns out that I really didn't like them . I jumped on the Prima bandwagon and jumped right back off. I still have 6 jars of Primas that are just sitting there! That being said I have been eyeing these Prima Sprites for some time. I finally broke down and got the pink ones (used here on this card) and the next day had to go back for one of everything! I think I didn't like the old Primas because they were too small. These are anything but small and I love them!

Holy cow! If you made it this far you deserve a treat! Leave a comment on this post and I'll draw a couple of names to get an assortment of Primas from my stash.

make it a great day!
julie

edited to add: tell me about something you had to have and ended up not liking!

Thanks for this offer - I love Prima flowers, and use them a lot, but I only have a limited range of colours.
The item I wanted but never use is a circle cutter. I got a bit despondent after my circles turned out distinctly un-round!

I looooooove primas! I am slowly building my collection of them.

I purchased the Stamp a ma jig and am too lazy to use it. I thought I had to have it, but it takes too much time and I end up eyeballing everything anyway! Thanks for the chance :)

I got the Xyron Cheeta and the glue doesn't hold anything.

Your card is so pretty and I love the detail on the prima. One of my regrets is a large set of felt pens. They streak and dry too quickly so I can't even use them to color directly on my stamps.

Your card is so beautiful! Makes me want to get out my paper, too!

Hi,
What a cool give-a-way! I've never actually used Primas before, so this is really neat!
There are plenty of things that I've had to have and then once I get them, never (or almost never) actually use them. Like a crimper. Or colored staples. Or the $1 stamps from Michael's. I could go on and on and on...

Oh, what a yummy giveaway, LOVE primas!!!
Pearl Ex....but I think that's just because I don't really know what to do with it. I keep saying I'm going to look up ways to use it but...

Beautiful card; those primas look great with that DP. I had to have a paper crimper, and I think I used it once. It isn't that I don't like it, but I never think to use it because it gives a rougher style than the floral, romantic look that I like to do. I'll have to remember it for masculine cards. Thanks for the chance to win.

OMG!!! I would LOVE primas! I have never bought primas because they were just too expensive for my buget. So the only ones I have were gifts and I treasure them!! They are my favorite embellishment! I got the crop-a-dile expecting great things but I realize that I can only use it 10% of the time. I wish it had a longer reach.
Thanks!

I adore Primas:) One thing I bought some of and decided I really didn't care for is felt...flowers, die cuts, I just don't care for them so I passed them on:)

I really enjoy your blog, thanks for the chance to win such a lovely prize. A few year ago I purchased a set of patel chalks and have only used them a few times. It's not that I don't like them, I just don't really know how to use them.

Your card with the Primas is just cute as can be!! I love primas and have used them alot, but there are some now in paper packages and I'd love to find more ala carte...where are you finding the best selections??

I just had to have those Studio G stamps from Michaels and ended up not liking them at all. I love primas though I forget to use them. I have hardly any red, so I guess I did use those. LOL

I adore the flowers you added to your featured card!! I just have a few flowers on hand, there are so many styles and colours online it is amazing.
One of my most unused item was buying a bunch of pearlex powders.
Thanks for the chance, Happy Day :)

I had had to have the Klick-n-Kut I use it but was sorely disappointed at how difficult it really is to use.

What a beautiful card! I've never seen that type of Prima before, and now I am going to have to get some! I always go crazy buying the $1 stamps at Michaels and ACMoore and then they just sit there collecting dust. You'd think I'd learn by now! LOL!

I love this Prima Flower arrangement. Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing. I did the same thing and purchased a whole bunch of small prima's and now I have two bottles. Now, I don't like the small ones so much! lol

Very pretty card!
One of my regrets is when fiber was so popular that I had to buy tons of it. Now I have bags and bags that i hardly use any more.

OOOOOOOOH....Primas! Love 'em!! But I soooo understand what you are saying....I had to have the xyron runner, DH bought it for me for a gift and I still haven't gotten all the bugs out! Probably because I don't "play" with it cause it is so darned frustrating...LOL Thanks for the chance to share some of your treasures! :)

Primas are such a great embellishment!! Thanks for the op to win some!!

I'd have to say the item that I most regret buying is the SU! Stamp-a-Ma-Gig. It is still in its wrapper and I have never learned to use it and so it just sits and sits and sits... so sad...

What can I say?! Thanks again and I XOXOX your FAB blog!!

You're not going to believe this but I have never used or had an Prima flowers. They are beautiful. I will definitely have to go buy some. Your card is really pretty. Pink is my favorite color and I would use it on all my cards if I thought I could get away with it!

I have CTMH eyelet setter that I just don't like. You have to pound it on the table to get a good set on the eyelet. Not only is it hard to use, it's annoying! So I bought myself a Cropadile and use it constantly!

Thanks for the chance to win some Prima flowers!

I LOVE prima flowers and use them on nearly every card I make!
One thing that is really not worth having is the X-RON - it gives a sticky surface to small images to adhere to a card, but gluing an image is just as simple!
Thanks for the offer!

Thanks so much for giving us this chance. I bought a bunch of Primas about 6 months ago and my hubby accidentally threw them out. I had unwrapped them but put them back in the box and he thought it was trash.

Anyway, it would be great to get some more to restart my collection.

The item I had to have was the Cricut. I got it and about 5 of the cartridges last year and I find that I only use it about once a month. I love it when I use it but it takes alot of time.

I love your blog and thanks again!
Sheri
