American Crafts goodies

I finally took a photo of the American Crafts products I picked up a while back. Embellish-It Scrapbooking has the Backyard Teen and Craft Fair lines in stock plus a bunch of the goodies that go with it. She also loaded up on Thickers! You know how happy that made me! Here are a couple of things I've made with my goodies.

This one uses the backyard collection and my new favorite Thickers Patchwork.

This one uses craft fair. Isn't that owl paper adorable?! The chipboard owl is from SU and the little owl on the bottom is cut out from the pattern paper. I think I found the perfect picture to go along with it too!

soccer and a party

I'm just about done with this birthday! Woo Hoo. I have the photos from the annual photo shoot to scrap yet plus the journaling for his 7th year page and then I'll be done with that big event.
This page uses some retired su paper. I actually did all the pages from this paper pack and I'm loving how they look all together .

These are from my daughter fall soccer team. It really is the cutest thing to watch little kids play soccer! She's on the same team right now and it's amazing how they're learning. So fun to watch them (unless it's freezing and you only have 3 players like this past game:>).

These all use the Urban Prairie line from Basic Grey. Which by the way is on sale and if you use the code glitter you can get an extra 20% off you're entire order.

Tomorrow I'll have a couple pages using some new American Crafts. You know how I love my Thickers!! I'll also snap a picture of all the amazing AC products I picked up a while back. Lots of Thickers, Paper, paper and more paper, plus some flair and details.

This is what I've been working on this week. I've made good headway on my sons 7th birthday pictures. I've got one page left and I realized I scrapped one of the photos for my calendar and I used the same paper so I'm cutting it off of the calendar and putting it in the book. Then I don't have to scrap it again.

I also tried my had at my very first 11 x 8 1/2 page. I've been wanting to scrap in different sizes but didn't really want different size books so I haven't done it. Then I started seeing multiple posts with people just putting different sizes in their 12x12 books. So I'm jumping on the band wagon. Of course the only page protector size I didn't buy was the landscape 8x11 so I'll have to wait a bit to put that one in the book. No problem.

I have one more birthday page to finish up. I was fiddling with it all day in between walking/playing outside and chores. I'll finish it up and share later. I'm also headed to Archiver's to scrap this afternoon so I'll have more tho share from that as well.

white

White Scrapbooker

People may have told you that your layouts look like magazine pages. You don't overembellish, and you prefer a clean, graphic style. You may take a very organized approach to scrapbooking. Your pages tend to celebrate the beauty in everyday life.

This really does fit me to a tee, well not necessarily the magazine page thing but the rest!

I found the link to this fun quiz to see what color scrapbooker you are on Stacy Julian's blog.

It was a fun quiz and I am amazed at how dead on it was! Try it out. I'd love to know what color scrapbooker you are.....

be back later with some pages. I've had some done, I've just been too lazy/busy to upload them.

love

Another SCS challenge complete! This one is an inspiration challenge to use a tree on your page. And as I have just recently acquired some lovely Maya Road chipboard trees I had to do it!

The DP and rub-ons are su, letters ac thickers, tree maya road, journal spot jillibean soup

six and counting

I've been trying to play in some of the SCS scrapbook challenges lately. This is the second one I've completed and I've got another one on my desk almost done. This challenge was a sketch challenge. Here is the thread with all the info and the sketch. I flipped it around a bit but it mostly follows the fab sketch that was provided!

I used the Basic Grey Offbeat collection some AC cardstock and a thicker for this page.

Have a fabulous weekend!

{5}

It's been a while. I haven't gotten much scrapping done lately and this particular layout has been on my desk almost complete for over a week. I finally glued down the finishing touches today and I thought I'd share. This one pretty much uses all Stampin' Up! stuff. That is with the exception of the velvet Thickers I used for the title. I love these pictures of Jordan. This is right around the time she turned 5. Now she's almost 6. I think it's just crazy how fast the time goes these days! Kind of sad too. They really do just grow up so fast. If you can't read the rub on it's a SU rub on that says "you're a breath of fresh air". She truely is.

nice

I had some extra time this morning so I hopped over to SCS and found a scrapbook inspiration challenge. The challenge is to scrap your silly photos. It gave me the push to finally decide to scrap this goof ball picture of J. I was shooting her 5 year old pictures last year and this is one of those goofy shots she had to get out of her system before I could get the good ones!

This uses the Urban Prairie line from Basic Grey and of course some AC thickers.

April DT projects

These are the layouts I did for the April DT gallery over at Embellish-Online. I used Pink Paislee Enchanting for the first 2 layouts and Pink Paislee Tinsel Town for the snow one. I haven't done a 2 page spread in such a long time. I tried to get more paper and goodies on it but it just wasn't working so I went with simple again. I used the embellies from the pink paislee collection, some AC Thickers and Basic Grey Buttons. There is a ton of super projects in the gallery so stop by and say hi!

so grateful

I finally got the thank you cards done for my son. I used all stampin up stuff on this one. The Jersey shore dsp, Trendy Trees, brilliant blue brads, kraft paper. I am in love with that tree set! I'm going to try and use it on a layout tomorrow. I really like all the trees that are popping up on things lately. I ordered some maya road chipboard trees from two peas the other day. Can't wait for them to get here!

stay tuned...shortly I'll have some DT work for Embellish-Online to share with you.

play hard, have fun

I've begun scrapping past sports pictures in an effort to get somewhat caught up before the next round of sports starts! This was my son's first soccer game...3 years ago. He really didn't take to soccer so there was one more season after this and he called it quits. Now he's in to basketball and baseball, mush more up his alley!

I've been trying to keep my pages pretty simple lately. Not sure what's gotten into me but I kinda like it! It takes less time and I'm loving the clean look. I also busted out some much neglected letter stamps for this layout and I'm glad I did. I'll be taking a close look at my stamp stash and seeing what I can add to my layouts.

I'm off to design a thank you card for my sons bday gifts and then to work. Have a great day!
