a year later....
Here are last years kindergarten pictures finally scrapped! I'm almost done with the res t of the pictures from the year as well. I think I'll try to catch up Jack's school pictures and then go back and get current. We shall see how that all plays out right? :>
I used the super cute Girl Friday collection from Cosmo Cricket. Most of the "back to school" kits are kind boyish for my tastes for this little cutie so I went with this. I'm totally pleased with how it is all coming together. I will be back tomorrow with another school page!

learning to bake
I have had the most fun scrapping with the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection. It has the best color combo and the cutest patterns! I used a sketch from the Basic Grey monthly newsletter for this layout. Cute, cute sketch...sorry I can't remember which month! I also used my trusty AC Thickers. The yellow is almost a perfect match. I busted out my AC small letter stickers too ( I think they are from the AC baby collection) , I'm having fun with the smaller lettering for my titles. I'm always trying to get better at picking/mixing fonts for my titles.
I spent the evening scrapping with friends at Archivers last night so as soon as I get them photographed I'm post 'em! I wasn't terribly productive. For some reason I just couldn't get the pages right. But I did almost use my entire Girl Friday collection all up! I love it when that happens. :)
that's it for tonight catch you later!

1st day of school
Here's a little peak at my layout for tomorrows blog hop! I hope you'll come back and join me!
So now that the first day of school is here I can start scrapping again! Yea! Starting tomorrow with a very fun blog hop. I'm going to keep it short today cause I've already wasted 3 hours doing absolutely nothing. It's a little hard getting used to the house being soooo quiet! I'm going to put on some music and start scrapping with all the new goodies I've picked up the last few weeks. Catch ya later!!

messing around
Since I can't get motivated to do any scrapping I decided I'd take a few photos tonight. I haven't even done much of that lately! I have a new niece that I need to shoot and a wedding coming up so I thought I'd get back in the groove with some pictures on our newly completed deck. It's so nice to have a gorgeous deck to hang out on. I love reading out there in the morning. It's so nice and cool these days first thing.
I just need to start getting up a little (read a lot!) earlier since school starts this Thursday. I'm a little sad the summer break is over! I like spending time leisurely with the kiddos. School brings homework for the kids and lots of volunteering for me. We'll get back in the groove soon enough but for now I'm mourning the end!
What I'm not mourning is all the lovely, new scrapping goodies I've picked up in the last couple of weeks. I told you about the American Craft Merrymint line. The other day I picked up all the new Cosmo Cricket goodies. Gorgeous I tell ya! I really love each and everyone of these kits. I got the 6" and 12" chipboard too. It's going to be fun to work with. I started cleaning up the scrap room today and plan on spending ALL day and night scrapping on Friday. SO I will have some things to show very, very soon. Also the Embellish-Online DT is having a Farmers market blog hop this Friday! I will definitely have something to share for that.
That's it for now I'm getting kicked off the computer by my soon to be 1st grader! Gotta get those kindergarten pictures scrapped!! :)

finally something to share!
One of my favorite scrapbookers has been doing sketches! I've been printing them off with the intention of scrapping with them and I finally completed a layout. This is all I have but with the kids getting ready to go back to school I'll have much more time for scrapping. There will also be a fun Embellish-Online blog hop for August (dates to be determined).
I'm just giddy at all the fun new stuff coming out and couldn't be more excited the the store has started receiving it. (Although it hasn't stopped me from asking every day if the new Cosmo Cricket has arrived). She has the Halloween lines from American Crafts (these products are still getting loaded into the store they will be available soon) and Imaginesce and a Christmas/Winter line from Imaginesce. I am in love with it all! She has so much coming as well....Pink Paislee, Basic Grey, cosmo cricket.... so.much.fun.!
And as an added bonus....usethe code glitter at checkout for 20% off your entire order!

totally toothless
Well it finally came out! It took a little longer that I thought but it's out now and she looks so cute!
I will actually have a page to share tomorrow. It's done I just didn't get a chance to photograph it so I'll do it tonight and share tomorrow. I also have a page in the work using my Early Bird papers. Love them! I hope to have that one to show by Monday.
Have a great weekend!
