2 in one day...I know!

Here is a sneak peak at what I've been working on for the Embellish-Online Feb gallery. I chose to use the super cute Twitterpated line by Imaginesce. It is seriously adorable! I will have my other 2 pages and some Valentine day cards to show you with the same line on Feb. 5th.

All supplies are from the Twitterpated collection. The letters are American Crafts and the flower is a Suzy flower. Loved her tutorial on this!

love you

I'm getting in Valentines day mode. I got this page scrapped the other night at Archivers. Seriously one of my favorite photos of Jordan from 2008. I saw this Little Yellow Bicycle Valentine line and knew it would be perfect for this picture. I of course used Thickers for the title and some AC foam flowers paired with a covered chipboard heart for the embellishments. A Martha Stewart butterfly finished it off. I have to admit I was really bummed because I didn't bring any embellishments to match these papers, but once I got it done I was glad I didn't add any more! I do need to add some journaling...not sure where I'll put it though! I get to it later.

My sisters and I are getting together this weekend to bust out some Valentine treats for the kids classmates. I just have to think of the ideas!

explore

I had to share another layout and didn't want to wait until tomorrow! I used a sketch from the Inspired Blueprints blog for inspiration. It doesn't look too much like the sketch but I was definitely inspired by it!

Christmas

The last page of 2005! Feels good to get a whole year completed. I'll never be caught up but I won't lie that it's an accomplishment to finish a year. I've been doing a decent amount of scrapping these day so for the next few days I'll have something new to show you.

I'm also working with the Twitterpated collection from Imaginesce for next months design team. It is seriously the cutest! I'll give you a sneak peak when I complete the page I'm working on. In the mean time run to Embellish-Online and check it out. Twitterpated collection. I just noticed that the deal of the day is a closeout on Maya road goodies. In addition there is a 30% discount on Basic Grey stamps. Some good deals going on over there! Also check out the post below this one for an awesome contest as well.

have a great day!

march and april...

Not much to report today. I've been happily creating something each day. Am on a re-organization kick with my photos. Just trying to slim down the "have" to scrap photos. It's getting all a little overwhelming! I'd really like to have just 1 big book for each year. Is that too ambitious? I don't know if it's enough or I would feel like I'm leaving things out. I am definitely over the I have to scrap every picture I take thing. I am definitely more selective in the pictures that I print these day so it will get easier!

supplies~ (march) su dsp, ac thickers, su star punch and brads (april) su dsp, mm letters, chipboard and bling ?

more sweet cakes

I am seriously in love with Pink Paislee papers. They are so easy to work with. And I totally love every single page I make with their goodies. My new goal for 2009 is to complete each Pencillines sketch...not just look at them and think they're great LOL. This page is based on sketch 116. The first of 2009. We will see how it goes.....

This photo was taken last valentines day. Jack and I went to the Avalanche game and JOrdan and dad went to chuck-e-cheeses. We all had a great time. I was so excited to come across this picture. And although the Avalanche jersey doesn't really match my color scheme...I think it worked OK. This is another layout that I don't want to stuff in a book! I guess I need to take more pictures with me and James in them. They are really turing out to be my favorite photos.

I have half of my 2009 calendar done that I will share with you tomorrow.
Hope it's a great day!

Embellish-Online Jan Gallery

I finally made some layouts with the New Pink Paislee Sweet Cakes line. It is just as sweet as the name implies! I thought the ballet recital pictures would be a perfect match for these papers and I was right! Then I came across this photo from June of 2006 that I haven't scrapped yet. I love this picture and was so, so glad I found it! It brought back so many great memories for me, which is the greatest thing about this craft. I kinda want to frame it instead of stashing it in one of my books....I may just do that now that I've thought about it. LOL

These pages are for the Jan DT gallery over at Embellish-Online. To get 20% off your order put in the code glitter. Also there is a new deal of the day and all Prima things are 20% off. Yes you can use the glitter code too.

I'm going to try really hard to start putting the supply list on all of my posts so here goes....

Paper-Pink Paislee Sweet Cakes
Letters- White (Pink Paislee) Pink (AC Thickers)
Chipboard- Basic Grey Urban Praire
Ribbon- May Arts
Felt Flowers and Brads- Stampin' Up!

I made something!

It took me all night and a few hours today but I got it done! I had to make 29 of these for a swap that I'm in. I haven't stamped many cards lately...been working on my scrapbooks. But I had fun. I was needing something to get me back into the card making mood. This may have done it. I have visions of myself going through the calendar and getting a start on my 2009 birthday cards. I need 3 for January so I better get a move on!

I'll be back tomorrow with some goodies for the Embellish-Online January DT gallery reveal. I really need to get a move on my projects.

Happy New Year!

Just a quick note to wish everyone a happy New Year! I haven't completed any new projects although I do have a lot I need to get done in the next day or two. So I will have somethings to show, hopefully tomorrow!

I've been playing with my new Photoshop Elements 7 program I picked up yesterday. It's almost as addicting a scrapbooking. I'm going to need several more hours in my days to do everything that I want to do!

I'm headed over to my mom's to play with her Slice. I want one, I just want to use hers first to make sure I really want to spend the money!

Hope it's a great weekend!
